The first application of Medingel™, MedinCare™ and MedinHub™ is the direct and slow delivery of pharmaceutical compounds after subcutaneous administration. These technologies can be also applied to medical devices, to slowly deliver pharmaceutical agents from the surface of a device to a targeted area of the body.
MedinCell is 100% privately owned and has been developed to ensure IPO in 2011. A holding in Zurich currently ensures the stock exchanges between management, employees and investors with two shareholders pacts.
The company will generate revenues from licensing its technologies. Since their applications are relevant to any medical field, licences will be scheduled from 2007 to 2011.
