Life Sciences Attorney (M/F)

We are looking to hire an Attorney to join our Legal Department with a focus on life Sciences activities to join our Montpellier, France facility and participate to our on-going success as a growing, socially responsible company dedicated to Global Health.
As the Life Sciences Attorney, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements in the pharmaceutical area. As a highly knowledgeable attorney in commercial law, you will provide the business with effective advice on company strategies and their implementation and coordinate with outsourced legal partners.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate pharmaceutical, biotech or related commercial agreements including, but not limited to:
- Clinical Trial agreements;
- Co-development / partnership agreements;
- Supply, Manufacturing and other operational agreements (MSAs with CRO, CDMO, CDA/NDA, MTAs, safety data exchange agreements, laboratory services agreements, consulting agreements, etc);
- Intellectual Property Licensing agreements;
- Academic and/or Industry Research and collaboration agreements;
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that agreements are aligned with corporate objectives and satisfy compliance and regulatory issues
- Manage legal research, prepare memorandum in support of contract execution
- Support our Head of Legal department on transverse topics/activities
Requirements
- Degree in business law
- Preferred Additional Training :
- Degree as corporate counsel (DJCE – diplôme de juriste-conseil d’entreprise)
- Master’s degree specializing in Common law is a plus
- Licensed to practice law in France (CAPA) and/or U.S
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical devices industries or in a law firm
- Significant corporate transactional experience with a background in Life Sciences
- Experience in US law is a plus.
