We are seeking a drug product development scientist in our Montpellier (Jacou) facility to participate in our on-going success as a profitable, fast-growing, socially responsible company dedicated to global health.

As a DPD Scientist you will be working on several development projects simultaneously, developing polymeric formulations.


  • Participate in establishing a drug product development strategy and in the design of study plans
    • In-vitro release methods
    • Formulation characterization
    • Supportive stability and compatibility studies
    • In-vivo studies
  • Prepare and conduct experiments in a timely and accurate manner in adherence to protocol guidelines
  • Analyse and characterize liquid formulations by HPLC/UPLC, rheometer, viscometer, DSC and GPC
  • Analyse and meticulously record data on our electronic lab book system
  • Collect, analyse and critically evaluate data for presentation
  • Conduct scientific literature research to resolve problems and make recommendations for improvement
  • Work closely with other team members by sharing information and performing activities in response to priorities
  • With support from the analytical center, co-develop and validate analytical methods
  • With support from the non-clinical center, participate in defining in-vivo animal studies requirements and objectives
  • Write study plans/protocols and reports


  • Minimum of a Masters degree in pharmaceutical technology or related field with an emphasis on formulation development
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in formulation development; experience in drug delivery systems would be a plus
  • Sound knowledge of polymers preferred
  • Hands-on experience in laboratory activities and knowledge of pharmaceutical QC standards
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality written documents in English
  • Experience of working in international and multidisciplinary teams
