We are looking for a Lab Technician to join the DPDE (Drug Product Development) unit in our Montpellier (France) facility, to participate in our ongoing success as a fast-growing, socially responsible company dedicated to Global Health.

As a DPDE Technician, you come with pharmaceutical or chemical laboratory experience and you will provide technical support to a laboratory team in the preparation of numerous experiments, including drug substance solubility, formulations preparation, in-vitro release tests, formulations characterisation, drug product compatibility, drug product stability and non-clinical studies.  In addition, you will support the lab generally to ensure that necessary supplies are available for experiments.


Technical Support

  • Generate or follow approved work documents, including SOPs, study plans, experiment plans, protocols etc.
  • Complete logistical preparations for experiments, including preparing solutions, formulations, reagents, apparatus, accessories and other supplies needed for experiments as described in approved work documents
  • Set up chromatography equipment, including eluent preparation, column installation, system priming, etc.
  • Conduct experiments following the work documents and applicable procedures
  • Record test results and ensure the accurate and complete documentation of activities and results in lab-books and reports
  • Carefully observe results during experiments and report any issues to the team
  • Compile data from experiments
  • Participate collaboratively with all team members in the achievement of project goals and deadlines
  • Work according to GLP standards and ensure quality standards are always maintained

Overall lab support

  • Prepare buffers and eluents
  • Obtain and make available materials and supplies from stockroom
  • Maintain inventory levels and appropriately organize and label all supplies
  • Wash laboratory glassware


  • At least 2 years of experience as a technician in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience in Drug Development would be a plus
  • Chemistry background (Bac+2, Bac+3 or BSc)
  • Experience in in-vitro studies
  • Conducting stability testing
  • Operating HPLC/UPLC equipment
  • Performing solubility testing
  • Good knowledge of EHS practices
